I first heard of Spencer Bell while waiting for treatment in the Radiation Oncology department of my local hospital. I was in my final week of that course of treatments and my doctors were very optimistic about my outcome. I was scared. When I tried to talk to my family and friends they would say things like, you're going to be fine, don't worry or did you hear *insert name here* just died, of cancer?. A few of my friends stopped calling and coming by because they couldn't deal…

This morning, I was driving to class down Featherstone Rd. in Auburn Hills.
LDF was playing on my radio and I was singing quite loud as I passed the Wingate.
Coming down the road the other way was a fuel oil truck with "Spencer" in big letters on the tank.
I laughed so hard I cried!
Thanks Spencer for starting my day off right!!
