Many of you know the album name. and for those who are familiar with the track list you'll note there is no actual song called Feudal, Brutal and the American Dream.
Well, actually there was one in progress - various people heard Spencer play it (or parts of it) from time to time (Brady even sang a bit of it to me once). Here are the lyrics as Spence left them (with an easier to read translation typed below the original notes):
You can… Continue

For the curious one, the quote is from the song by Daft Punk "Around The world".
Old Clubbing Song...
Well here is my question. As many of you saw, Little Brady ( ok, not so little, the guy is really tall in fact ^_^) has already been around the world quite a lot.
Made me wonder if others in here have been around the world ?
So here is my question :
"Where have you been and would you care to share a story about one of your travel?"
Seeing I ask ,i'll… Continue

I Feel as if I have been a bad friend. Life and such like things have taken me away from visiting this site more, However I shall make the effort to come here more often. The people and the music make all the efforts in the everyday a welcomed treat.
I have been spending most of my waking hours hunched over my computer, working on my writing. All done with the background of Spencer and 100 Monkeys, what can I say their my writing muses. Deadlines and editing eating up the rest of my… Continue

That's what we all are. The trick is to know what you are seeking.
Some are seeking power, some are seeking money, some are seeking love.
For others, it is the right shade, the right tense, the right rythm, the right tone..… Continue

I feel bad, I haven't been on here in quite some time.
I went through a phase where I didn't want to listen to Spencer's music for a little while, but I've come back around. It seems like whenever I am having a hard time I end up finding my way back to him. I don't know what it is about his voice, but it always helps me when I'm sad.
One of my best friends in college, Brandon had a rough week last week. His grandpa died suddenly, and on the day of the funeral, one of his best… Continue

Spencer had a ton of lyrics/poems that were not eventually recorded. Fortunately we still have a lot of the original writings of the stuff that did make it onto tape as well. "Sweet Company" was written during his senior year in High School and performed live as a class assignment (it's here, recorded in class, on the website - song #53 - and will be on the next album). Here are the original lyrics. I'll post others going forward if you'd like to see them......… Continue

So, I'm aware that you guys know bits and pieces about me, but there are of course a lot of things that you don't know.
That's the fun of getting to know new people though isn't it? The great
part about becoming friends...solving the mystery that is each
I wanted to share a little bit of me today by telling you something
that happened that touched my heart... to do so, I have to give you a
bit of a back story, so I hope it doesn't bore… Continue

Hotels For Dallas.doc
It was requested we put the hotel list for Dallas up here - your wish, my command!
Just so you all know -- this is not a comprhensive list of all the hotels in Dallas and none of them are willing to give us a group rate - but it is what is.....it narrows things down a little for… Continue

Amy Dupcak reminded me of the original version of "Fearful" where the Cactus (eventually, Stevedores) wanted to use Carl Sagan's voice (from the PBS series, "Cosmos") at the beginning. However, they couldn't get permission from Sagan's estate and, instead, had to go with the version you now hear on "Tamuawok" (you can't copy this version - sorry - we don't want to get into trouble).
Anyway, it's song #1 on the playlist on this site if you want to hear it.
Remember, you can… Continue

Deb was going through old school papers and found this original poem which eventually became the song, "Violin" (my favorite of Spencer's solo songs, I believe). You'll be happy to know he received 10 out of 10 points on the assignment - see teacher's (and others) notes too.

So, I'm majoring now in Communications (Cinema & Media Studies, Media Production) and minoring in Graphic Design and Creative Writing. These are in hopes of getting into the Entertainment world as a writer/journalist/whatever - and getting my master's degree in Filmmaking from NYFA.
Whose fault is all this? Spencer Bell's, the freakin' 100 Monkeys and of course Before the Door Productions.
Anyway, really it's none of their faults - they just drive/inspire me to this… Continue

I had originally intended on another piece of text to fill this blog
spot, but instead, what you will read before you took it's place. It
I don't come from a huge family, and it isn't
close knit. The people that loved me, that I love(d) dearly, I have
watched be diagnosed with cancer, and fade away, to become a plethora
of memories stored away in my heart, etched into my soul.
I've lost aunts,uncles,cousins... all to cancer.

Been long without a sign right?
Don't worry: WE'RE STILL HERE ! LOUD AND CLEAR!!
All the Euro girls are now back to their home for a few weeks, and back on translating jobs.
We've added Bistro to the lyrics we already had.
We're going to keep adding Lyrics. However, you'll notice some disclaimers about the lyrics. Some of the songs haven't got written versions and there might be some words we're not sure. Don't hesitate to mail us your input if… Continue

The night has come already
After a long and lonely day
The words stayed away
As the long hours flew by fleetingly
I'm rediscovering this song
Though I know all the lyrics by heart
They really sound different tonight
Some kind of strange peace settling along
The quiet rythm of his verse
Charming the words back
and I feel empty and calm
as they settle on the tips of my fingers
The scent of the winter night
the sea of my… Continue
