"Don't ask questions that you don't want the answers to"

If you ask someone something, there will always be a chance that the answer is negative.

A friend told me once that you shouldn't ask a question that you don't wanna risk having the negative answer to.

But if you don't ask, how will you ever know?

Isn't it better to have a negative answer than to be confused about what the answer might be?

I think it would drive me crazy to not know. I'd rather know. I made my decision: I'm gonna ask questions that I…

"That would not be right"

This morning, this song took a very different meaning to me, definitely NOT a meaning Spencer intended, but still an interesting one

Last week end, one of my best friends from Toulouse phoned me to tell me he would be in London visiting his brother and asked if I wanted to meet with him, which of course i did want too.

I used to have a crush on that boy , like 4 years ago. It is funny, in a way, to remember how hurtful it was, to see him go out at…

Finally

It has been forever and ever since i have posted a blog on here...

I just  recently obtained a computer that i can now almost call my own. Trying to type blogs on phones and i pods proves most difficult.

I should be posting more here now as i have many a topic that probably needs discussing. I really miss talking to everyone on here and hope that i can become a little more involved now that i have the means.

Love you…

Brooke

Hey everyone. I know Brooke Thompson is a friend of this site...not sure if everyone follows her Caring Bridge journal but she's apparently in the hospital now, with fluid in her lungs, after doing so well for a time following surgery to have the last of her cancer removed.

She's my age, has a little girl and a husband, and has fought so hard to beat this cancer...please, if you would, say a prayer for her, send good vibes, work a spell...whatever it is you believe in. I hate that…

Perception

I've been doing a lot of thinking since the AOD Spencer Birthday Broadcast. It was really cool hearing people that actually knew him personally sharing stories about him. I teared up a little bit. It's kind of strange for me sometimes. I never knew Spencer. I love his music, I love his writing. I love his friends and family that I've gotten to meet, or see in concert, or read blogs from. I feel like sometimes we fans kind of put him on this pedestal, and we have all these larger than life… Continue

Beautiful picture, beautiful memories

We happened to be at an event on Thursday at the River's End in Jenner -- the day before Spence's b-day -- and as a way to avoid the general company inside the restaurant, I stepped outside with my camera.  The view is spectacular and I remembered as I was snapping away that the beach just in front of Goat Rock, (the… Continue

Taken Too Soon - Spencer's 25th Birthday

I know Im not here alot but that doesnt mean that Spencer isnt in my thought often. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont see my wristband and think about him or some bit of music or a thought he gave us. On a regular basis I tell people why I wear this wristband and why its so important. But its a day like today that pushes me to speak out and post something. I posted this today on my Facebook and Tumblr pages...

Today wouldve been Spencer Bell’s 25th birthday, had he…

A true feeling of community and family

I was able to chat during the AOD show tonight for the first time, and wow, an hour after it ends I still am feeling all cozy inside.  To everyone who was listening and chatting, thanks for hanging out tonight.  The music was great :)  Time and time again, I am reminded how lucky I am to be connected to all you amazing people.

Happy Birthday Spencer!  Thank you for all the music and art you've given us, and for all the people you have brought together.

Celebrating Everyday

Your Father celebrates your birthday everyday by creating something new and exciting in your name, in your honor and for your legacy. I know you are very proud of him, as we all are for doing such a magnificent work of love. Happy Celebration.... Diane Pereira Hunt

Happy Birthday, Spencer!

I haven't been on here in a while.  Well, I have.  I've tried blogging from work a few times but every time I do, when I go to post, I get a failure message and the blog is lost.  Apparently I still haven't learned to save beforehand.  You think I would have by now after all the times that has happened to me. :)

But today I wanted to come on here and say happy birthday to Spencer. It has been so nice to see my twitter feed blowing up the last two days with…

Just something about my nephew

Just wanna say Happy Birthday to all of you that have birthdays tomorrow.  Two that I can always remember: Spencer and my nephew Ben(who turns 8 tomorrow).

My sister, who is now 27, married this one guy that I knew was really horrible and mean in December 05. Well he had been abusing my nephew since he moved in w/ my sister in like August of that year...my cousin lived there too for a while so she kinda witnessed a little of it. On December 30th my aunt who lived in…

It's alive. IT'S ALIVE!!!!

My iPod has been resurrected from the dead! Happy DAY! Gonna go on some more nature walks now. I'm such a music addict I need it to distract me from all the silence out on the trails. I haven't been in the best of moods lately, but it's nearly summer time. Not that it counts for anything, lol, I'm a cave dweller. Mostly because of the roomie, and trying to avoid seeing him at all costs. That may change soon. I've got a musical iron in the fire right now, going to be working on my git-fiddle… Continue

Putting the LONGING in Belonging

Putting The LONGING in BelongingI should never have gone to see the Partial Curve paint her pictures in the airI should never have fallen for those brown eyes and long brown hairYour smile, your laugh, it's all bewitched me, I can't look you in the eyeIt's got me wishing on every first star I see in the skyIt's got me writing some of the worst teen angsty lines I've ever doneAnd I wake up in the night to see my arms wrapped around no-oneI look forward to seeing you, and yet I dread it as…See More
