An artistic legacy doing good things
It has been one long year for me and I needed to write it down and let it all out and be completely honest.
Here I go!
After the August legacy show last year I packed up all of my belongings that would fit in my van and Jodie and I moved to small town Kentucky to start a new path with someone who we considered to be a good friend. Within the first week I found a job and was looking forward to building a new life in a new state without a safety net. Well by the time the 2nd week rolled around we were being kicked out of our home and the friend we thought we had didn't want anything to do with us. Frazzled and freaked we found the person closest to us (Micky) and headed on down to Alabama.
We got into contact with a friend of Micky's who needed a roommate down in Tuscaloosa and so there we were. Still had no problem finding a job! Tuscaloosa I thought was going in our favor as we moved just in time to make the weekly trip to Baton Rouge to support 100 Monkeys. Well by December our living situation just wasnt working. This one ended semi mutual. Sometimes you just can't live with certain people. Jodie and I are still friends with this roommate and wish nothing but the best for her!
By this point 100 Monkeys was doing their week long winter tour. We jumped on board and tour as always is a wild and crazy ride! Mid way thru was a stop in Houston Texas...We unloaded our van at our friend Liz's house who agreed to take us in and we are so grateful!! So we have been in Texas since January. Due to all the changes that have recently happened to Jodie and I both after our treck on the road this August we are both moving again. I am going back to Missouri to go to school and hopefully save some money. Jodie is California bound.
In one year I have traveled to so many places met so many people and really realized who some of my true friends are. I shall keep all of you updated as things are always changing and plans change but this is the path I am headed on now. I really do thank anyone and everyone who has helped Jodie or I this past year. It meanms more than you know!!

I left Missouri in September 2010 - through Kentucky, Alabama, Texas and now California... the changes that have preceded have been great... the friendships that have transpired, expired and grown have been life altering. I appreciate each person so greatly. Even those who have burned me... because they brought me to where I am now.
