An artistic legacy doing good things
I've been traveling for work the past two weeks and the time I have for 'fun' online stuff is minimal under such circumstances.
I see the Madison show is picking up steam - fantastic. We can't thank our friends in MadTown enough for their initiative and dedication (but we'll certainly try).
Some people ask about an SBL here in Michigan. The thing is, it's very hard to say because the musicians are scattered to the wind and it's very complicated (and expensive) for them and for us to try to pull together all at the same time and place. One thing we do know, Madison is on everyone's radar and all of the musicians can at least do their best to be there, right?
Update on SBL 'stuff':
* The new bracelets will be here shortly: "Never lose hope and never, ever give in" is the phrase
* We've ordered some bitchin' shot glasses (black with Spencer's self-portrait with stars and "Tonight We Drink To Gratitude" printed on them. Very cool and those will be here soon.
* We've commenced recruiting our musical friends to help make a Spencer Covers album. We already know a few who are committing to specific songs and others who are noodling their choices. It will be great, but will require time and coordination to put together. Of course Ben Johnson and the guys will be producing and (if we're lucky) Scott Coslett will master...All still coming together, but the goal is to release this Fall. Stand by.
Love and gratitude,
