An artistic legacy doing good things
Today is a little tough for me. A very close, very dear friend of mine from High School WOULD be turning 27 today. He took his own life about 5 years ago. Spent a lot of time hanging out with this guy, grieved with him when his mom passed from cancer, and we were basically there for each other during some tough times. He was starting up his own restaurant in Houston and everything. Another mutual friend was REALLY down in the dumps, called my friend, who said "don't do anything," hopped on a plane, flew up and was there in an hour and a half to be a comforting shoulder. That's the kind of guy he was. Hell of a cook. Great sense of humor. Happy Birthday Matt. I love you, buddy.

You'll always feel the loss of someone that you love dearly, even when you've reached the point of being able to think upon the good times and not focus on the fact that they're gone.
I hate that the pain of what he was dealing with just became too much to bear as much as I'm sorry that you lost him.
Happy Birthday to Matt...and lots of hugs to you, Brad.
If you need someone to talk to, although I'm just a stranger, I'm around.
Happy Birthday to your mate.
